Community Health is very important to the Paramedic's,
EMT's, and Board of Directors of Hermann Area EMS.
Responding to emergency calls is a small portion of our job.
Education and prevention is a larger part of what we do. We
feel it is important to prevent illnesses and accidents by
educating the public on how to recognize an emergency and
the steps to take to reduce injury or prevent it all together.

We have created this Community Health Page as a reference
and guide for community members to educate themselves on
emergency situations.

We encourage you to read about the topics listed on the right
side of this page and take the necessary steps to reduce
death and increase quality of life.
