Fall 2026 EMT Course

The Emergency Medical Technician-Basic course will cover topics including:
•    Legal and ethical issues for the prehospital provider
•    Basic airway techniques and CPR
•    Assessment and treatment of medical and trauma patients
•    AED operations
•    Medical pharmacology
•    Hospital and ambulance clinical experiences
•    And MUCH MORE!

This course meets and exceeds all the requirements for the Emergency Medical Technician Basic Education as required by the Missouri Bureau of EMS and the United States Department of Transportation curriculum.

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be prepared to take the practical and written National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians Exams for the EMT-Basic. Successful completion of the National Registry exams will allow the student to apply for the state licensure as an EMT-B.

The first night of class will be Monday, August 17, 2026 beginning at 6pm. Classes will be held every Monday and Wednesday night from 6pm-10pm. There will be no class on September 7, 2026 for Labor Day. 

Application and the application deposit must be received by July 31, 2026 at 5pm. 

Half of the tuition is due by the first day of class and the remainder by midterm exam.

Students will not be allowed to take the midterm exam if their tuition is delinquent.
